Watercolor II: Owl & Moon

Owls hold a special place in the lore of harvest season, and in this two-part class, watercolor enthusiasts will stretch their skills by painting these wise and wondrous creatures in a nighttime scene.
During the first session on Friday, October 23, participants will choose from a variety of species and reference photos, then transfer their chosen design onto watercolor paper using a template or freehand drawing. After a few guided practice exercises, participants will begin building their paintings with the first layers of color in preparation for more detailed work during the second session.
On Friday, October 30, we'll gather again in the Green Door Studio to continue building layers, adding deeper colors and finer details to bring dimension and depth to each nighttime scene. Completed paintings will make a lovely addition to a gallery wall, nature journal, or seasonal display.
Prerequisite: This class is designed for those with prior experience. Participants must have taken Watercolor 101.
