Create colorful, textured, shimmering paintings of buds, blossoms, foliage, and garden groupings.
A class presenting watercolor materials and supplies, composition, and a variety of techniques including color mixing, brushstrokes, washes and shading.
Students of all levels welcome.
Supplies provided at class and a suggested supply list will be available if you wish to purchase supplies of your own.
$75 for 3 session class and includes one $5 voucher Lucky Gut Voucher (redeemable during class)

Collette Hurst lives in Simsbury, CT. She creates works in many media including watercolor, gouache, acrylic, pastels, prismacolors, ink drawing, and textiles. She presents art workshops for libraries, community centers and private studio classes. As a contributing artist, associate producer, and host for several years of the weekly cable television program Artworks shown by Nutmeg TV in the Farmington Valley and Long Island Sound areas of Connecticut, she presented interviews and original work of New England visual, literary, and performing artists.
