Watercolor Botanicals for Beginners - 3-Part Class - Wednesdays in July - 6 to 8 pm

Unleash your creativity in an exciting 3-week exploration of the art of botanical watercolors! Beginners age 12 to adult are welcome, as well as intermediate watercolorists looking to expand their knowledge in a supportive hands-on setting.
Through a series of guided projects, artist and retired teacher Lonni Peterson will teach you to work with layers, contrast and color as you create your own works of botanical art. Whether you’re new to watercolor or hoping to break out of a creative rut, this class will expand your skill set and spark your creativity!
Ages 12 to adult
Fee for the three-part course is $75, payable at registration
Dates are Wednesdays July 1, 8 & 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Supply List – Please bring these items to the first class:
9×12-inch 140lb cold pressed watercolor paper block
#10 round brush with good point (i.e. Silver Black Velvet)
tube watercolors (Holbein, Daniel Smith or Winsor Newton)
> Alizarin Crimson
> Ultramarine Blue
> Gamboge Yellow
