Hope Floats Water Lantern Festival 2026
Richard Lambert Foundation’s Hope Floats Water Lantern Festival is a heartwarming and family-friendly fundraising event that invites individuals of all ages to come together and celebrate a night of unity, remembrance, and hope. This enchanting festival offers a unique opportunity for friends, family, neighbors, and community members to connect in a meaningful and joyous atmosphere.
Beyond its enchanting atmosphere, the Water Lantern Festival serves a greater purpose by raising funds for a cause that benefits the community with grief care services. Join us in being a part of coming together for a common good.
LIVE MUSIC - Enjoy some good time music performed by the GrooveTime Sitters that electrifies their audience with a variety of music genres that include Rock, Blues, Folk, and Country.
FOOD - Come hungry and enjoy some tasty food provided by our Food Trucks. Adult beverages will be available for guests 21+. *Be prepared to show ID.
LOCAL VENDORS - Discover fun and unique items from local vendors.
LANTERN DECORATING - Prior to the release participants decorate and personalize their own lanterns, each one a canvas for expressing hopes, dreams, and cherished memories.
LANTERN RELEASE - As the sun sets, participants gather to release their lanterns. These lanterns symbolize the collective spirit of community, remembrance, connection, peace, and hope, shining brightly as they float across the water, creating a stunning and serene display.
GENERAL ADMISSION INFORMATION - WHAT’S INCLUDED:
Each General Admission ticket includes :
- One floating lantern
- Marker to decorate your lantern
- LED tealight candle
- Admission for festival access

Each CHILD ticket (ages 0-7/no lantern kit) includes:
- Admission only
Children ages 0-7 MUST HAVE a ticket for entry. DOES NOT include a floating lantern or additional items. General admission tickets are available if you would like your child to have a lantern kit.

CUSTOM MEMORIAL TRIBUTE ON OUR PATH OF REMEMBRANCE - Enhance your tribute to a loved one with a custom memorial sign. Memorial signs will be displayed along the Path of Remembrance at the lantern festival.
At the end of the event, you are welcome to take your memorial sign home as a cherished keepsake.
Each sign is 24x18 inches, one-sided, and crafted from durable coroplast.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
- Tickets are non-refundable
- Tickets will NOT be sold online by any third party or through personal social media accounts. Please be aware of online SCAMMERS who claim to be "selling their event tickets" because they can no longer attend. Protect yourself and only purchase tickets through our official site.
- Online ticket sales close at 10:00 pm the day before the event unless otherwise SOLD OUT.
- In-person day of event ticket sales increase to $42 for all ages excluding children ages 0-7.
- Should the event post notice that the event has SOLD OUT, tickets will NOT be available in-person or at the gate.
- State Park Entrance/Parking is not included with your ticket puchase. See "Park Entrance & Parking" below.
TICKETED EVENT
This event is strictly ticketed, and no spectators will be allowed entry without a valid ticket. To ensure the safety, security, adequate quantity of supplies and food, and the enjoyment of all attendees, only those with a valid event ticket will be admitted beyond the entrance. This decision has been made to maintain the event's integrity and make it an exclusive experience for those who have contributed through their ticket purchase. We believe that this approach will help us maximize the impact of our event and ensure a memorable experience for our attendees and supporters.

PARK ENTRANCE & PARKING
Entrance to Cherry Creek State Park is not included with your event ticket. A daily park pass of $11 per vehicle is required for entry. We encourage guests to carpool when possible.
If your vehicle has a current Keep Colorado Wild Pass (Colorado State Parks annual pass), park entry is free.
