Food Justice NW Aurora invites you to attend the 2026 Food Justice Festival!
Date: Saturday, September 12th
Time: 10am-2pm
NEW Location: 1635 Paris St. Aurora, CO 80010
This event is hosted on the lawn and blacktop of the former Paris Elementary school. Free parking is available on the residential streets surrounding the venue.
The Food Justice Festival is a multicultural celebration that promotes solidarity and collaboration among the growers, food businesses, community-based organizations, and residents of NW Aurora. It is an opportunity to have fun and enjoy ourselves, make new connections with local food producers and retailers, and get involved in the food justice movement in our community. We encourage you to bring your friends and family to spend this day in community with us!
The festival will feature:
- Locally-grown produce and products from nearby farmers market vendors
- Information and resource booths from partner organizations that serve NW Aurora
- Activities for families and children, including face painting and lawn games
- Tours of the onsite community garden at Paris elementary school
- A free meal from a variety of food trucks for all attendees
