About this Event

December 29, Washington Psychotronic Film Society presents BRONSON (2008) upstairs at Stoney’s on P (1433 P St NW, Washington, DC), trailer A:

WPFS fought the law

• 6:30pm: Short Films & Videos

• 7pm: BRONSON (2008, UK | Denmark, 92m)

Directed by

NICOLAS WINDING REFN (Drive, Only God Forgives, The Neon Demon, Valhalla Rising, Pusher)

Written by

NICOLAS WINDING REFN

and BROCK NORMAN BROCK (The Mustang)

Based on the true story of Britain’s most violent prisoner. TOM HARDY (Mad Max: Fury Road, Inception) is Michael Peterson, a misguided youth whose original sentence of 7 years in J*il for robbery balloons to 34 years behind bars, 30 of them spent in solitary confinement. But that won't stop the artist in him from expressing itself, and, along the way, adopting the name of actor Charles Bronson as his own.
