Join us for a free, informative, and interactive workshop provided by the Washington State Department of Commerce’s Federal Funds Grant Writing Assistance Program (FFGWAP)! Lunch and morning refreshments (coffee and pastries) will be provided!

The full day workshop will offer a well-rounded introduction to both federal grant writing and grant management, equipping participants with practical tools and guidance to strengthen their approach to securing and managing funding. The workshop sessions include a mix of presentations, group discussion, and interactive activities focused on key concepts, strategies for success, and lessons learned across the full grant lifecycle. Attendees will gain insight into best practices, common challenges, and ways to position their projects and organizations for long-term impact.
Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards, as the workshop provides an excellent opportunity to network and connect with local peer organizations.
To allow as many organizations as possible to participate, we kindly ask that each organization limit registration to a maximum of two attendees. If you register and later find that you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration so that the space can be made available to others.
About FFGWAP
The FFGWAP is designed for Washington community-based organizations, local government agencies, ports, housing authorities, tribes, businesses, state agencies, and others eligible to receive federal funds to prepare and submit grant applications, and to help Washington meet its clean electricity and greenhouse gas reduction goals using approaches that enhance equity, innovation, economic growth, and job creation.The FFGWAP is free for participants across Washington, and organizations that support overburdened, rural, and vulnerable communities will be prioritized.
