Warhammer Tournament

Get ready for an action-packed day of strategy, skill, and epic tabletop battles as we host our Warhammer Tournament at the Unmasked Halifax Hub!

Whether you’re a veteran of the 41st Millennium or new to the world of Warhammer, this is a fantastic opportunity to put your tactics to the test, meet fellow players, and enjoy a day of fun and friendly competition — all while supporting a great cause.

🎮 How will it work?:

• Each player will enter the tournament with a legal 1000 point list. Players will then be put into random teams of two which will remain the same throughout the tournament.
• Each team will play 2 games and the winning team will be determined by the number of wins and their average score across the two games. 
• All games are to be played using the current mission deck! 

🎮 List Building Rules:

• No Epic Heroes in order to avoid the potential of the same epic character being brought by two people on the same team. 
• No individual units over 250 points. This is to avoid any individual models/units being too tough for a casual event. (Characters added onto bodyguard units don’t count towards this eg. Necron warriors(200pts)+Overlord(85pts) = 285pts is a legal unit.) 
• No more than 500 points of vehicles or monsters. Again this is to avoid any unbalanced lists in order to keep it casual and fun for all players. 

Food:

We will be in the centre of Halifax and players are free to go out to get food during the breaks between rounds. You’re also free to bring a packed lunch. Drinks and snacks will be available at the location. 

All proceeds from this event will go directly to Unmasked Mental Health, a Halifax-based charity providing vital mental health support, counselling, and community activities for people across West Yorkshire.

By taking part, you’re not only enjoying a great day of gaming — you’re also helping to fund life-changing services for individuals in need of support.

Please bring your own army, dice, and gaming accessories. All players are to arrive at 9am. The tournament is a full day event and could end anywhere from 4pm-8pm depending on the number of players!
