From Højbro Plads the tour passes Copenhagen's best preserved renaissance house at Amagertorv. We walk by Gråbrødre Torv and along Købmagergade. We pass important 17th century buildings like Regensen, Rundetårn and Rosenborg. We walk along Gothersgade to Kongens Nytorv, the cultural centre of Copenhagen. The tour continues to Frederiksstaden - Frederik's Town. This magnificent district was built in the 1750's and named after the absolute monarch, Frederik V. We end the tour at Amalienborg, the royal palace and the heart of Frederik's town.
Meeting place: Højbro Plads at the equestrian statue of Bishop Absalon. The price is DKK 125 per person to be paid in cash on the day or beforehand by card via ticket link. Booking is not necessary. The tour is in English. There is a Danish tour at noon.
