About this Event

Standing Up 4 Nature Hastings and Rother invite you to.....

WALKING ON WATER

A celebration of water in Hastings! Come along to learn about and celebrate the sea, lakes, springs and hidden rivers and streams in your town

🐠With stalls from local groups and activities for all ages, this will be a fun day of learning and community

🐬 Dress up as a water creature (mermaids are very welcome!) and bring a banner, toy or sculpture of sealife to help raise awareness for the amazing nature living under the water.

🐙The guided walks will make their way along hidden waterways in the town and meet at the Stade Hall at 12:00 for the fair

Walking the hidden waterways of Hastings

Info: Join us on a guided walk of a hidden waterway in Hastings!
Come dressed in your best water themed outfit (or comfy walking clothes!) and join a guided walk to explore the history and ecology of the incredible waterways hidden beneath Hastings. Each group will be guided by an expert telling you the story of the waterway.
We have 2 groups walking different waterways which will meet at the Stade for the fair. Meet at the Pump House Cafe in Alexandra Park at 11:30 for the walk along the stream through the park and at the playing fields along Harold Road (W3W buns.zebra.burst) for the walk along the Bourne.
