Overview
Join us for black lighting event on Friday, September 18th, at 8:30pm. We'll bioblitz for moths and other night time insects.

This event is part of iNat Together (September 18–28) a global campaign encouraging iNaturalist users to connect in person over nature.

This event is organized by Nathan Wahler, Anya Loeblich, Tamara Verschoyle, Claire Carter and Jane Weeden.

Event Schedule
We'll start with a brief intro to iNaturalist for anyone new to app and best practices for nightime insect photography.

After that, we'll hit the blacklight stations phones and cameras ready, to see what we can find to document.
These iNat meetups are open to anyone, and no previous experience is needed.

What to Bring

● Flashlight or headlamp
● Water
● Smartphone with the iNaturalist app downloaded (or a camera)
