Walk: Upstairs, Downstairs, and Around to the Local
About this Event
Is Sloane Square really an underwater station? Where was the Great Train Robbery planned? Who haunts the Grenadier pub? What can’t you do in The Nag’s Head? Where is Lord Lucan? Pete Smith will answer all but one of these questions during this walking tour, which begins in the booking hall of Sloane Square Station (Circle and District Lines) and ends close to Hyde Park Corner. There will be a chance to sample three equally splendid but very different pubs along the way, as well as hearing some strange stories and taking in some glorious buildings, so this walk should take around three hours.
