Walk through the community gardens of Harlesden

Join us on a gentle walk through local community gardens, learn about growing fruit, vegetables and wild flower meadows (1.5miles)
About this Event

We'll start our walk at the prize winning Harlesden Town Garden (Challenge close NW10 4BB) learning about wildflower meadows. We'll tour through the Newfield community orchard with so many varieties of interesting fruit and nut trees. We'll learn with Let's Grow Brent about community solidarity and food growing, and stop in to the amazing new community hub and Nature Connection Centre in Roundwood Park. Our final stop will be the School Garden at Newman Catholic College where 4000 meals of vegetables were donated to the community last year. All stops will be accessible, but note there are limited toilet facilities on the walk. Walk approximately 1.5miles at a gentle pace.
