Walk in the Woods: Spring Ephemerals with Charlotte Taylor Fryar

Wake up and smell the spring flora! Walk leader Charlotte Taylor Fryar, Ph.D., is a local historian, author, educator, and herbalist. Join Charlotte and ICPRB staff for a fascinating history and nature walk through the famous Potomac Gorge at Turkey Run Park.

Expect to walk about 1.5 miles on unpaved, muddy and steep terrain including steps. We suggest bringing your own water bottle, a snack, and using sun protection.

This event is FREE of cost, but please register in case of delays or rescheduling due to inclement weather. If you find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration to free space for other attendees!
