Events -
Event 1 -
140kg bench press for reps, up and down command will be given. No time limit, fail a rep and you're done, most reps wins!
Any sleeves allowed with one cuff OVER sleeve, obviously no slingshots or knee wraps on elbows. etc.
Event 2 -
130kg farmers for 10m, no drops, BUT this will be max distance, as you have 5 seconds to re-pick them up and do another 10m once you have got to the end zone. There will be an end zone at each end that you have to get too. Max distance wins. One drop between end zones and you're done.
Event 3 -
120kg sandbag to shoulder, 60 seconds, most reps wins, grip tops allowed. No throwing bag over shoulder, must be in front of you. Belt buckles to be at the back of your belt. we want to be able to see the 'nipple' area for a good rep, and athlete standing upright.
Event 4 -
Bag toss, 18-26kg over 4m, quickest time wins. If bag lands on top, it is good, BUT if it falls back towards you and not over, it has to go over the bar again. Ref's decision is final.
Event 5 -
Axle deadlift, you have 2 options, either 240 or 280kg for reps, any rep on heavier trumps lighter (1 at 280 beats 10 at 240), but you can also jump back down for additional reps on the lighter if you want (i.e. 1 rep @ 280 and 3 reps @ 240). 60 seconds, you will get an up and a down command.
As this will be same day weigh in, we allow 0.5kg, so 120.50kg and under.
Final is a 24hr so strictly 120.0kg and under
Top 4 from each qualify, to make a possible 26 man final!!
As always NO ENTRY FEE FOR THE FINAL, we believe you should never have to pay for a final you've qualified for !!
