Join us for the Tauranga Moana Waitangi Day Festival 2026! The He Iwi Kotahi Tauranga Moana Waitangi Day Festival is the city’s premier Waitangi Day celebration. This long-running, free, family-friendly event brings thousands together to honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi, to celebrate Tauranga's diverse multi-cultural, multi-ethnic makeup and to unite as a community.
This event features a large variety of performers, food and market stalls, workshops, games, entertainment and more. Bring your picnic blanket and your friends and family down to the Historic Village on 6th February for an amazing day out!
