Get ready for one of the most energising events on ourcalendar: the VUSA 24-Hour Cycle Challenge.
Teams cycle in relay style on stationary bikes, keeping the wheels turning for 24 hours to raise funds for VUSA, a sports and education programme supporting more than 1,400 children in Langa.
This is not just about fitness. It is about purpose. It is about showing up, riding for something bigger, and being part of a powerful community effort to create opportunities for children through education, sport, and belonging.
There will be food trucks, live entertainment, a buzzing atmosphere, and plenty of laughs. Whether you are cycling, cheering, or just soaking it all in, there is something for everyone.
How it works
Each team books a bike and takes turns riding in shifts
You can cycle for 15 minutes or all night, depending on what suits your team
We will give each team a BackaBuddy link to help fundraise for VUSA
Every pedal push helps support our academic, sport, feeding, early child development and social wellness programmes.
