Volunteering: Letters for Elders

Join My Friends Who Volunteer DMV for a relaxing afternoon as we write heartfelt letters to seniors through Love For Our Elders.
About this Event

In honor of National Senior Citizens Day, join us to write letters for elders. We will provide basic writing supplies and bios of the elders (provided via Love for our Elders), but highly encourage bringing fun pens, tape, or any other decorative items to add to the letters 🎉
Clear Skies has great alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks and allows all guests to bring food as well. We will bring a few snacks to share - feel free to bring some yourself as well! We will write letters from 1:30pm - 3pm (feel free to drop in/out as your schedule permits) and then socialize for anybody who would like to continue hanging out. Clear Skies has live music starting at 3pm! Children are permitted with a parent/guardian!
