Volunteer: Uplift Charity's Monthly Food Pantry, Saturday Dec 14, 2024

Since 2006, Uplift Charity has been making a difference in the lives of the underprivileged in our local neighborhoods. We seek to assist those in need by empowering them with the tools, support and resources necessary to impact their long-term success. Uplift Charity is committed to making a difference and being a vehicle to enlist those in the community who strive to make a real difference with their time and/or resources. At Uplift Charity, we understand that helping the underprivileged segment of society is the responsibility of the local community and that our best effort today will lead to a better tomorrow. MONTHLY FOOD PANTRY VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS

• Assemble 400 boxes with over 12 essential food items such as rice, flour, oil, sugar, lentils, etc.

• Register Clients for Food Boxes

• Distribute Food Boxes to Clients that attend event

• Help clean up venue

SPONSOR A FOOD PANTRY BOX

• For just $30, you can sponsor a Food Box. The Food box contains essential everyday food items such as rice, flour, lentils, oil, etc... To donate, please visit www.UpliftCharity.org/Donate

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Children must be at least 8 years old.
• Children under 16 must be accompanies by their parent
• Community service completion letters available by request after the event

PARKING INFORMATION

• Parking for volunteers will be inside the gates of the venue, facing Kerry Street.
• Please bypass the lines that will form for food box pickup by clients.
• Actual food Boxing will be in the parking lot, facing 11th street.
