January 14: Seed Sorting & Stratification
Info: Seed stratification is the process of exposing seeds to specific environmental conditions—usually cold and moist treatment—to break dormancy and trigger germination. It mimics the natural overwintering period seeds would experience outdoors before sprouting in spring. In this workshop, you will learn how to sort and clean seeds and which seeds require special processing to trigger germination. You'll likely go home with a little envelope of seeds too:)
