Volunteer Mother Earth Day Celebration

Join us in making a difference this May at our Mother Earth Day Celebration! Held in conjunction with the Run for the Trees 5K, this community event brings together local sustainability vendors and family fun to celebrate and promote environmental stewardship.

We’re looking for volunteers to help make the event a success! You can sign up for the First or Second Shift OR sign up for both if you intend to stay for the whole event:

• First Shift (6:00 – 9:00 AM): Provide general event support, monitor waste diversion stations to ensure trash/recycle/compost are sorted properly, help vendors set up their tents and materials.
• Second Shift (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Provide general event support, monitor waste diversion stations to ensure trash/recycle/compost are sorted properly, help vendors break down their tents and materials.

This is a great opportunity to get involved, support sustainability efforts, and be part of an engaging celebration! No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to help and make a positive impact.

A waiver form is required for all participants.

• Volunteers under 18 must have a parent/guardian present at check‑in to sign a minor waiver (or request ahead of time).
• Volunteers 12 and under must have a parent/guardian present for the entire event.
