MiniNature Reserve is teaming up with the Oxnard Public Library, Teen Garden, and the Oxnard Friends of the Library

• Spreading mulch
• Pruning plants
• using soil, flour, water, and seeds, a fund hands-on activity!
• Replacing plants that didn't make it! :( the irrigation broke and drowned one of the lemonade berry.
• Identifying and pulling weeds Learn how to identify weeds vs wildflower seedlings.

The Vision

This is the first phase of a learning garden for the library's teen gardening club which meets every Thursday. It will feature locally native plants and educational signage which will be added at a later date. Teens have been involved in the growing of the plants for this garden, the planting, and will be involved in the maintenance.

We Recommend You Bring

Important Reminders

• Sign the waiver/photo consent form before starting. We will send you a link to the waiver/photo consent form after you RSVP.
• Use public transportation or carpool, if you can. Our Discord server has a #carpool channel. You must have a Discord account in order to access it.

• Podando plantas
• ¡Usando tierra, harina, agua y semillas, una actividad práctica y benéfica!
• ¡Reemplazando plantas que no sobrevivieron! :( El riego se rompió y ahogó una de las bayas de limonada.
• Identificar y arrancar la maleza. Aprenda a identificar la maleza de las plántulas de flores silvestres.
• La visión

Esta es la primera fase de un jardín de aprendizaje para el club de jardinería para adolescentes de la biblioteca, que se reúne todos los jueves. Contará con plantas nativas locales y señalización educativa que se añadirá más adelante. Los adolescentes han participado en el cultivo de las plantas para este jardín, la plantación y participarán en el mantenimiento.
