About this Event
The IWA Canalway Cavalcade returns to London’s Little Venice on Saturday 2nd May 2026 for the full early May Bank Holiday weekend.
Each year this free event celebrates the best of life on the waterways and its community. With eclectic live music around the site, special boating activities like the legendary illuminated procession, and kids’ entertainment for all ages. Canalway Cavalcade is IWA’s premier fund-raising event of the year.
But none of it happens without volunteers!
Can you spare a couple of hours to help give out our event leaflets, collect donations and give out information and directions?
The times when we need help are:
Saturday :
- 1pm - 3pm
- 3pm - 5pm
Sunday:
- 1pm - 3pm
Monday:
- 10am - 12pm
- 12pm - 2pm
- 2pm - 4pm
Come along, meet new people and have fun while helping to support the waterways, their environment and the nation’s heritage.
