Voices in the Stacks – Community Book Festival

Durham Community—mark your calendars!

I am thrilled to announce that, in partnership with the East Regional Library in Durham, North Carolina, I will be hosting Voices in the Stacks – A Community Book Festival on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

This special gathering will celebrate the power of storytelling, creativity, and community, bringing together readers and local authors for an inspiring literary experience.

Throughout the event, you will have the opportunity to:

• Meet and mingle with talented local authors while browsing their latest books
• Visit author tables for conversation, book signings, and literary giveaways
• Enjoy live author readings, as participating writers take the podium to share selections from their work

Attendees will also have the chance to participate in a free community giveaway, featuring books by local authors.

Whether you are a devoted reader, a curious browser, or simply looking for a morning filled with inspiration, we would love to meet you. Come support local authors, discover new stories, and join us for a celebration of literature, faith, and community.

You can even pick up a signed copy of my novel, meet fellow book lovers, and experience the joy that stories bring when voices come together.

Info: The Welcome Table will present each attendee with a thank-you gift bag (Available while supplies last): Small bag of candy, Festival Bookmark Keepsakes, Event Brochure, Event Poll Survey (optional). Also, meet participating authors and browse book tables.

Info: The host will welcome the attendees as the authors prepare for their reading.

Info: Participating authors will read a brief episode from a chapter of their book

Info: The attendees will resume communication with the authors at their table and have the option to purchase their autographed books.
