About this Event
4-Part Series: Embodied Nervous System Awareness
Commonly, stress management approaches focus on thoughts and behaviors—yet stress and safety are first and foremost experienced in the body. This in-person, experiential series introduces participants to the foundations of nervous system regulation through embodied awareness.
Drawing from neuroscience, psychology, and Polyvagal Theory, each session explores how sympathetic and parasympathetic states show up as physical sensations, posture, breath patterns, and emotional cues. Through guided body scans, visualization, gentle movement, and reflection, participants will learn to recognize their own nervous system states and practice simple, practical tools to support regulation in daily life.
Over four sessions, we’ll gradually deepen our awareness of how the body communicates stress, safety, and connection—helping participants feel more grounded, calm, and connected from the inside out. No prior experience or equipment is required; come exactly as you are.
This is a free event. Donations appreciated.
