WPV-CERT Basic Training (Spring 2026)

Seven Tuesdays (Feb 10, Feb 24, Mar 3, Mar 10, Mar 17, Mar 24, Mar 31) 6:30 - 9:30 pm
One Saturday (March 28th) 9am - 4 pm

Take CERT Basic Skills so you can help yourself, your family, and your community when disasters strike and professional response systems could be overwhelmed.

Topics include:

• Disaster Preparedness
• Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Organization
• Disaster Medical Operations
• Disaster Psychology
• Fire Safety and Utility Controls
• Light Search and Rescue Operations
• CERT and Terrorism

Registration fee is $35 and includes:

• In person training - refreshments provided
• CERT Backpack with starter kit
• CERT Field Operating Guide (FOG) Manual
• Family First Aid Kit
