The Actor’s Toolbox for Singers is an immersive 90-minute masterclass designed to help vocalists unlock deeper emotional truth and dynamic expression in their singing. Led by veteran performer and teacher Joe Mondragon, this session bridges the worlds of singing and acting, giving singers practical, character-driven tools to bring authentic storytelling to their performances.

Whether you’re preparing for a musical theater audition, performing a pop ballad, or interpreting a jazz standard, you’ll learn to connect your technical vocal work to real human impulses and dramatic intent. The class will follow a 50/50 split between acting and singing, with exercises, guided exploration, and performance coaching.

Participants are encouraged to bring one prepared song to workshop in class. Those who prefer to observe will gain valuable insight by watching Joe work one-on-one with singers, exploring how emotional truth, physicality, and vocal expression intertwine to create compelling, story-rich performances.
