Join us for Carers Rights Day - How can employers make carers' rights real at work and help to reduce the financial impact of caring?
About this Event

Many organisations have carer policies, but translating concepts into consistent day-to-day experiences can be more challenging. Small gaps in awareness, confidence or implementation can significantly impact carers' ability to remain in work and balance their caring responsibilities.

This employer network event will explore how employers can:

• Move from policy to practice
• Make carers’ rights understood, accessible and consistently applied
• Avoid overlooking working carers’ financial difficulties
• Reduce the risk of financial disadvantage, support employee wellbeing, and improve retention

After a group discussion, and sharing examples of good practice, you’ll leave with ideas of how to better support working carers in your own organisation.

This is a free, in-person event at VOCAL's Edinburgh Carers' Hub in Leith. Existing network members and new employers all welcome.
