Visit the LIFE-Boat 4 Sturgeon

Sturgeons are among the oldest living fish species still in existence, but they are severely threatened with extinction. The LIFE-Boat 4 Sturgeon project, based on a boat near Danube Island, is actively working to prevent their disappearance from the Danube Basin. Discover the sturgeon breeding station and the work of scientists who strive every day to protect these iconic species.

This visit is organized as part of the Institut français d’Autriche’s European Green Days in Vienna (Journées Européennes Vertes de Vienne).
