Visit Czechoslovakia! Stories of Czech & Slovak Travel Posters [opening]
About this Event
Join us for the opening of Visit Czechoslovakia! The Stories of Czech and Slovak Travel Posters, an exhibition of original Czech and Slovak travel posters from the collection of Nicholas D. Lowry.
Curated by Lowry, the exhibition explores how bold, imaginative poster design shaped the image of Czechoslovakia as a travel destination while reflecting the changing culture, politics, and visual language of the twentieth century.
The evening will also celebrate the launch of the accompanying publication Visit Czechoslovakia! The Stories of Czech and Slovak Travel Posters.
Come raise a glass with us and discover a vivid visual journey through Czechoslovak history, design, and travel.
