About this Event
We want to welcome you to our FREE workshop presented by Aspire Vision Care’s developmental optometrist, Dr. Nancy Guenthner!
Did you know that a disproportionate number of children are labeled and treated for A.D.H.D. in the U.S. compared to most other countries?
What causes concern is that the signs of A.D.H.D. are common to vision deficits as well and unfortunately many don’t know how to distinguish between the two.
Dr. Nancy Guenthner is a skilled developmental optometrist specializing in the connection between vision, development, and overall well-being. With extensive clinical experience, she provides personalized treatments for individuals with visual and developmental challenges to improve comfort, focus, and performance. Her approach goes beyond traditional vision care, integrating vision therapy to enhance learning, behavior, and emotional health for patients of all ages. Passionate about holistic care, Dr. Guenthner empowers patients to improve their quality of life, helping them unlock their full potential.
Throughout this workshop, Dr. Guenthner will dive into the observable signs that point to a child experiencing a vision problem including:
- Attention spans becoming shorter during near work
- Poor concentration when reading
- Restless when facing near work that requires comprehension
- Seems compelled to touch everything
- Often trips or falls instead of stepping over objects, steps, carpet edges or rugs
- Hates to read but likes to be read to
- Continues having difficulty doing near work despite an increase in the ability to concentrate after taking Medic*tion
Why Attend?
We know that many parents and professionals who work with children want nothing more than to see them succeed and grow confident in their abilities alongside their peers. Dr. Guenthner will provide answers to confused or frustrated parents while also providing solutions and next steps for those who are prepared to help improve their child’s quality of life.
