Experience One – A Frozen Night:
Visit Stonington Island, a dog-sledging outpost and the southernmost base cared for by the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust.
Set in 1965, this VR experience is based on a true story and narrated by former residents, immersing you in the challenges and beauty of Antarctic fieldwork.

Experience Two – Scott’s Discovery Hut:
See what life was like on Ross Island for members of Scott’s 1901 – 1904 National Antarctic Expedition.
Walk through Discovery Hut, ride the expedition’s hydrogen ballon, feed the huskies, meet some penguins, and help a sledging party in this interactive VR experience.

Runtime: Together, the VR experiences take up to 30 minutes.
Age: Suitable for everyone from 11 years and older.

The UKAHT and the NZAHT protect Antarctic heritage and use immersive technology to educate, inspire and expand access to remote sites.
