This workshop offers a hands-on guide to calibrating, connecting, and synchronizing a virtual camera with a real-world camera using the Vive Mars CamTrack system and Unreal Engine.

What you will learn:
Virtual Production intro: Quick intro/discussion into the world of virtual production and LED walls.
System setup: Connect the Vive Mars hub, Base Stations, and Rover unit, and establish the network connection to your PC.
Unreal Engine integration: Add Vive Mars as a Live Link source and ensure tracking data is being received reliably.
Camera and lens calibration:
Learn how to use the Mars Calibration Kit and accompanying Camera Calibration Tool to capture lens distortion.
Create a reusable lens file asset within Unreal Engine based on your captured data.
Calibrate the crucial nodal point offset for accurate parallax.
Workflow optimization: Master essential tips and tricks for reducing latency, performing a one-click origin reset, and maintaining a robust connection.
