Jazz Series: With a revolving cast of Central Florida Jazz All Stars, Jazz Jam is an open-door opportunity for musicians wanting to dig a little deeper and learn a little more. Primary leads include pianist Per Danielsson, drummer Gerald Law II, and bassist Thomas Milovac. Each of these musicians is a leader of their own groups with national performance and recording experience. Expect contemporary, relevant, groove-oriented, funky sounds with respect for jazz masters and an ear for the future.
Format:
Pros will open and close the jam.
Jammers can call any tune they like.
$10 General admission tickets. $5 for Timucua Jazz Jam participants.
Free for high school students and all music teachers.
