Join acclaimed Mexican violinist Marienn Sanchez for an intensive violin masterclass designed for Spanish-speaking violin students of all levels, including high school students and adult learners, as well as their parents. The class will focus on violin technique, musical interpretation, and stylistic clarity across a wide repertoire. Participants are invited to bring their own chosen works to perform and refine.

Four selected students will perform live and receive individualized coaching in front of an audience. The masterclass will be accompanied by pianist and historical keyboard specialist Nate Sassoon, offering participants the experience of professional collaboration.

This masterclass provides a rare opportunity to study with an international artist in a supportive, educational setting, with bilingual instruction and special attention to Spanish-speaking families and learners.

Marienn Sanchez- pedagogical experience and expertise:

Dedicated music educator and performer with a passion for shaping artistic growth through thoughtful instruction and mentorship. From 2017 to 2019, worked as a private teacher at Christian Academy Adoradores, nurturing technical foundations and musical sensitivity in young students. From 2021 to 2025, served as a private professor at the Sistema de Orquestas Municipal de Apodaca, guiding students in orchestral performance, discipline, and expressive artistry. From 2022 to 2024, taught at Fairview Elementary School, fostering creativity and a lifelong appreciation for music through engaging and inclusive education.

Artistically trained through intensive masterclasses with renowned musicians including Sergey Malov, Kirill Troussov, Anne-Akkiko Meyer, Timothy Chooi, and the Pacifica Quartet, and refined musical excellence at the Jacobs School of Music under the guidance of Grigory Kalinovsky. Combines rigorous classical training with a warm, student-centered teaching philosophy, inspiring musicians to develop both technical mastery and expressive voice.
