A programme on Korean psychedelia, centred on Kim Jung Mi’s Now and the soft distortion of 1970s Korean psych-folk. Released during military rule, censorship and rapid modernisation, the record is beautiful and fragile on the surface, but shaped by control and youth culture searching for freedom. The session is followed by a shared table of Korean tea and small plates, extending into food and conversation.
