As a side event to the VOD Festival, Antonio will be presenting the original instruments used by Soft Cell, the Human League, Depeche Mode, Throbbing Gristle, Clock DVA, Hard Corps and Final Program both in the studio and during live performances.

Together with the musician Moogulator, they will demonstrate and explain how the artists worked with these instruments, how they were used and which sounds were defining.
Antonio Marquês Bras is a Portuguese multimedia artist, composer and producer, as well as the mastermind behind La Morte De La Maison (industrial/EBM) and his solo projects such as BINAR. He founded La Morte De La Maison in the mid‐1980s. Under the name BINAR, he produces EBM, ambient and industrial music (his latest album is due to be released shortly on his own label, marquês) – and performs as DJ BINARx with hybrid sets. He is also the creator of METROPOLIS LIVE (metropolis-live.de): for the past 25 years, he has been touring with his own live electronic
soundtrack, combining Fritz Lang’s classic silent film with neo-classical, EBM and dark ambient.
Moogulator is a German musician, music journalist and synthesiser expert. He runs Sequencer.de, one of the largest German‐language synthesiser forums, is the founder of Synthesizer‐Magazin, and, together with Dean Freud, hosts SequencerTalk – a weekly German‐language videocast on synthesisers, music production and studio technology. As an influential figure in the German synthesiser and electronic music scene, he performs live as Moogulator. His music ranges from
experimental electronic, electro and IDM to Britzelpop, industrial and dark ambient (“Ultradark Ultraelectronic”), with a strong emphasis on hardware synthesisers, particularly in his live
performances.
The grand finale will be a performance featuring the instruments mentioned above. During the performance, both musicians will incorporate additional instruments, effects units and even old test equipment from the Tettnang Electronics Museum into their sound design.
