Renowned for his hybrid sets, DJ BINARx delivers an unforgettable blend of DJing and live performance. His set begins with a live performance that flows seamlessly into a hybrid set. Through synth sounds and sound collages that are woven directly into the set, he creates new, haunting soundscapes that no one will ever forget.
As BINAR, Antonio Marquês Bras produces EBM, ambient and industrial music (his latest album is due to be released shortly on his own label, marquês). He is also the mastermind behind La Morte De La Maison and the creator of METROPOLIS LIVE (metropolis-live.de): for the past 25 years, he has been touring with his own live electronic soundtrack, blending ritz Lang’s classic silent film with neo‐classical, EBM and dark ambient.
DJ Bleakphil, who specialises in dark and alternative music genres, will be taking the first slot at the After VOD party night. His musical repertoire primarily includes cold wave, goth, darkwave, post‐punk, minimal synth and dark ambient.
He is a regular fixture on the regional live music scene, particularly at the Slow Club in Freiburg, where he is the resident DJ. He can also be seen performing live at Abby or the Duncker Club in Berlin. From time to time, he also undertakes crossover projects, such as providing the musical accompaniment for the silent film classic „Nosferatu – Eine Symphonie des Grauens“.
