Join us for the Wildflower Cup, a special vintage base ball event set against the beautiful natural landscape of Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm. Step back in time as teams take the field playing by nineteenth century rules, surrounded by farm fields, historic buildings, and blooming wildflowers.
Beyond the excitement of the games, the Wildflower Cup is a celebration of the land itself. Guests are invited to explore the farm’s pollinator garden, learn about on-site beekeeping, and discover the vital role that native plants and pollinators play in sustaining healthy ecosystems. Throughout the day, you can:
- Learn about the sustainable farming practices at Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm and locally
- Sample honey and mead from 1634 Meadery
- Stroll the grounds and enjoy the scenic beauty of this historic property
- Visit with our Director of Sustainability to learn how Historic New England is addressing climate change
- Learn about the commonwealth's Growing Wild Massachusetts initiative and pick up a native seed packet
This event is sponsored is sponsored by The Best Bees Company, 1634 Meadery, Pollinator Powerworks and the MA DCR Grow Wild Initiative.
