This summer, we invite you to be part of the first ever ORO MUSIC DANCE VIDEO PROJECT. We're gathering anyone who wants to be part of a dance video, and or enjoy salsa on 2 fusion with afro movement. If you've been looking for a place to train Orishas and Afro-cuban folk, this 2-month performance project is for you!
We will spend the summer months of July and August learning a footwork sequence exploring movement for the following Orishas: Oya, Yemaya, Chango, Oshun, Ogun, Elegua, Obatala. Together with salsa on 2 footwork, this sequence will culminate in a music video we will record first weekend in September! You can use any of these afro-cuban movement to style your shines on the dance floor. And if you have performance anxiety no need to panic, this project will be recorded, not in front of a large crowd. Also we plan on using this sequence to flash mob social dance events around the city. Join us! We'd love to slay up the dance floor with you.
