To celebrate Heritage Open Days, the Friends of the Judges' Lodgings Victorian Tea Room will take place on both Saturday 19 September and Sunday 20 September.
From 11.30am to 3pm both days, enjoy delicious homemade cakes, coffee, and tea served on vintage china by costumed Victorian maids. It’s the perfect way to relax and soak up some history.
Payment by donation, cash or card goes towards the work of the Friends to support the museum.
While you’re here, why not have a wander around the museum too? Admission to the Museum and Tea Room is free over this Heritage Open Days weekend which includes Meet the Servants and Behind the Scenes Tours (see separate listing to book).
