The Victoria Film Society was founded in 2015 as a registered nonprofit organization, dedicated to bringing independent and celebrated cinema to Victoria, Texas. In the years that followed, we screened over 90 films across venues throughout the community.
While our nonprofit chapter has since closed, the society lives on — independently operated by Russell Fowler and Carolina Astrain, and made possible by the generosity of our patrons. The mission remains unchanged: great films, good company, and a community that shows up for the movies that matter.
This series is made possible thanks to the generosity of the Petit Polka gallery, located at 111 E. Constitution Street, Suite 200, in downtown Victoria.
The Mitchell Event Center is located at 306 E. Commercial Street and the Welder Center is located at 214 N. Main Street.
