Join us for FROST, Victoria Academy of Ballet’s enchanting winter production for all ages — an unforgettable evening of artistry, grace, and passion. Our talented Vocational Division dancers will bring the magic of the season to life through movement and music, featuring mixed works and ballet excerpts restaged by VAB’s award-winning Artistic Faculty.

This year’s program includes selections from Coppélia, Sylvia, and The Sleeping Beauty, as well as original works by internationally acclaimed choreographers Alysa Pires and Angela Mousseau.

Our students come from across Canada and around the world to train at VAB, and the standard of performance is that of a young professional company. We’re especially proud to feature choreography by Victoria-born artist Alysa Pires, whose acclaimed works have been performed by leading companies including the National Ballet of Canada and, most recently, New York City Ballet. FROST is a perfect family event — featuring classical and contemporary works, hot chocolate, and a chance to meet our dancers after the show.
