The holiday season is a time to celebrate love, community, and compassion — and Jamaicans on Vancouver Island Canadian Services Society (JOVICSS) is once again bringing those values to life at our Annual Charity Christmas Dinner & Dance.

This much-anticipated event will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at St. Joseph the Worker Parish Hall (785 Burnside Rd W, Victoria, BC). Doors open at 5:00 PM, and guests are invited to enjoy an unforgettable evening filled with culture, laughter, and purpose.

? A Night of Food, Fun, and Fellowship

Our Christmas dinner isn’t just a meal — it’s an experience!

Guests will be treated to a three-course Jamaican-inspired feast, featuring favorites like Jerk Chicken, Honey Glazed Ham, Pot Roast Beef, Curried Goat, Vegetarian Option along with Soup to start and sweet island desserts to finish.

Kids will enjoy their own festive menu and fun activities designed just for them, making this a truly family-friendly celebration.

To complement the evening, there will be live entertainment, music, dancing, raffles, and door prizes — all set in an atmosphere of island warmth and holiday joy.

This year’s event continues our proud tradition of giving back.

Proceeds from the evening will support the , helping children and families right here in our community who are affected by childhood cancer.
