About this Event
Have you been feeling a little lonely, bored, scared, stuck, un-enthused, out there in the cold? Being part of a men's group means you always have someone to talk to who won't shame you, blame you, or you give you advice you didn't ask for. You'll be part of a brotherhood of guys who care about you and will tell you the truth and support you in your life.
Our Kingmakers Open iGroup, a ManKind Project BC (aka MKP) men's support circle (located in Victoria, BC) is a safe place for guys to talk about their life, process feelings, learn relationship and life skills, and make decisions about how to live one’s life. "iGroup" or Integration Group, is a term fostered by MKP for those men who have been through the NWTA, however our group is open to more men than just those. If you are a man looking for a safe, confidential, and fun group of like-minded men to help bring clarity, peace, transformation, power, action, and many blessings to your life, then our group may be calling your name. In our evening gatherings, you will be invited to potentially do your "work" (completely optional) with the full support of all the other members.
Our group uses the term "open" to represent that there is no committment requirements and that you are welcome to join (drop-in) whatever weeks work for you. There is a suggested monthly donation (to help pay for facility rental) of $10-$20.
We meet every Thursday of the month at the historic McRae house, also known on a map as the Saanich Volunteer Services Society, address at 1445 Ocean View Rd, Victoria, BC V8P 5J6. Doors open @6:15pm and meeting stsarts promptly @ 6:30pm.
Please note parking is limited and the gate needs to be closed as we begin circle and it is suggested that men park down at the Cedar Hills Recreation Center overflow lot (furthest north lot) and then walk up the grassy field (hill) to the building.
If you have never had experience in a men's group, or simply have any questions whatsoever, you are encouraged to reach out directly to: [email protected] for more details.
The ManKind Project has many powerful training experiences - opportunities to look within at what's driving the bus and to shift into more beneficial patterns. You can find more information here: https://bc.canada.mkp.org/get-training/
