Good Jobs, Better Business?

The Good Jobs Employment Rights Bill represents one of the most significant developments in Northern Ireland’s workplace landscape in decades.

But what will it mean in practice for employers, employees and the future of work?

This special edition of the Vibrant Workplace Forum brings together senior voices from across business, government and professional bodies to explore the practical implications of the legislation — and what organisations should be thinking about now.

Hosted in the Pat Jennings Lounge in the Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park, this forum will bring together leaders from across Northern Ireland’s business community for a constructive and practical conversation about the future of work.

Rather than a political debate, this event is designed as a facilitated exploration of the issues that matter to employers and employees alike.

With a focus on partnership and collaboration, the forum will explore how employers, employees and institutions can work together to build stronger workplaces and sustainable business success.

💬 You’ll Learn
  • What the Good Jobs Employment Rights Bill means for employers in practice
  • The potential implications for employment relations and workplace culture
  • How organisations should start preparing now
  • Perspectives from employer bodies, policy experts and workplace practitioners
  • How employers can navigate change while building stronger workplaces

🎤 Speakers Include
  • Colin Jack – Director of Business & Employment Regulation, Department for the Economy
  • – Chief Executive, Labour Relations Agency
  • – Managing Director, Employers Federation
  • – Engagement & Employer Solutions Manager, CIPD
  • – Managing Director, MEGA
  • – Senior Case Officer, Industrial Court of Northern Ireland

Hosted by , Founder of the Vibrant Workplace movement.

The forum will also feature a fireside conversation exploring the future of employer–union engagement, with participation from Unite the Union, examining how employers and unions can build constructive working relationships as the employment landscape evolves.

Plus our sponsor nijobfinder.co.uk will host a panel discussion bringing together all speakers to explore audience questions and key themes emerging from the conversation.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to contribute their perspectives through facilitated table discussions, ensuring the conversation reflects the realities facing organisations across Northern Ireland.
