Dr. Phalguni Mukhopadhyaya -

Dr. Phalguni Mukhopadhyaya is a distinguished professor and the Director of the Graduate Program in Civil Engineering at the University of Victoria. With a robust academic background, he holds a BTech from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), India, an MS from City University, London, and a PhD from the University of Sheffield. Dr. Mukhopadhyaya is also a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng).

Dr. Mukhopadhyaya’s research primarily focuses on the energy efficiency and durability of building envelopes. His expertise includes high-performance thermal insulations, hygrothermal properties of construction materials, and bio-based construction materials. He has made significant contributions to the field through his work on heat-air-moisture (HAM) transport in building materials, which is crucial for enhancing the sustainability and energy performance of buildings.

• Before joining the University of Victoria in 2015, Dr. Mukhopadhyaya led the Insulation and Building Materials Laboratory at the National Research Council Canada. His professional journey is marked by numerous accolades, including the ASTM International Professor of the Year Award, Meritorious Achievement Award and the prestigious Walter Shanly Award from Canadian Society for Civil Engineering for his contributions to civil engineering.

In addition to his research and teaching, Dr. Mukhopadhyaya is the organizer of the International Conference on New Horizons in Green Civil Engineering (NHICE), which brings together experts from around the world to discuss sustainable and resilient civil engineering practices.

Dr. Mukhopadhyaya’s dedication to advancing low-carbon building technologies and his commitment to training the next generation of engineers make him a leading figure in the field of civil engineering.

• Booth space is limited so we urge you to fill out and submit the attached Registration Form as soon as possible to ensure the best booth selection.
• Regular booths are 6ft x 10ft and Large booths are 8ft x 10ft. Each booth will include a backwall, sidewalls and one 750W single power outlet.
• Booths will be assigned on a first paid and registered basis.
• Maximum two (2) booths per exhibitor as per ASHRAE regulations.
• Booths are to be setup on Thursday May 01 from 12 pm to 4 pm.
• Booths must be removed on Friday May 02 by 6 pm.

Technical seminars will be held Friday May 02 at the Location:Please indicate on the registration form if your company would be interested in providing a one hour technical seminar. Due to the seminar schedule, we may not be able to accommodate all presentations. Note all presentations must adhere to ASHRAE commercialism guidelines and must be submitted for review minimum of one week prior to the trade show.
