About this Event
The following is information is for vendors and exhibitors that are a part of the "Craft Fair," Hosted by VFW Silver State Post 3396 and Its Auxiliary. Please read the following directives. Failure to comply with the rules could result in possible expulsion from the event. All vendors must sign this agreement to conduct business during this event.
Artisan/Crafter
- Applicant must have created, sewn, constructed, or otherwise fashioned from component materials the item(s) he/she sells. The component materials must be sufficiently modified from their original state to demonstrate fine craftsmanship.
- Only 1 vendor per multi-level marketing company will be accepted. Vendor Application Requirements
- Applications will be accepted first come, first served to minimize duplication. Applications/products will be reviewed for appropriateness to event. Applicants will be notified upon approval.
- Collection and reporting of sales tax is the sole responsibility of the vendor.
City of Sparks Business License information:
All vendors are required to have a business license. You can get a City of Sparks Business License here, or call 775-353-5555. If you are only vending at one event you can get a temporary business license from the producers of the event. Temporary Business Licenses: Food $55.00: includes all vendors that are preparing food onsite for consumption onsite. How do you get your permit? Your event producer will arrange for your permit prior to the event.
Please note that food vendors are also required to have a Washoe County Health Permit.

Fees
- Booth space fees:oInside perimeter 8 x 10 ft. space $75.00
- The registration fee (per space) must be paid no later than January 24, 2025.
- All fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be given for weather related issues.
Food Vendors
- Sales of pre-packaged food only will be permitted. No preparing of food or beverages on-site by vendors.
- All food items must be properly prepared or preserved according to State of Nevada Health Department rules and regulations.
- Vendors providing samples must obtain Temporary Food Permit from the Health Department PRIOR to the event.
Setup/Breakdown
- A site map with vendor’s assigned booth space and set-up time will be provided prior to the event.
- Setup will be Saturday, February 1 between 8:00 a.m.- 9:00 a.m.
- Vendors are not allowed to breakdown and leave the event prior to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, regardless of circumstances, i.e., broken equipment, sold-out product etc.
- Vendors must vacate premises and leave area cleaned by 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
- Vendors will be provided 1 - 2' x 6' table and two folding chairs.•No fans, coolers, heaters or portable air condition units permitted.
Parking
- Vendors are only allowed to park in the rear of the Sparks High School in main parking lot by solor panels
- Parking is first come first serve and is not guaranteed
- No Vendor can park in the Handicapped spaces
- All other parking is for the attendees
Trash
- Vendors are responsible for removing their trash and supplying their own trash bags
- No liquids (gray water, ice water, etc..) may be dumped in flower beds or down storm drains.
- Smoking is only allowed in the designated area outside of the venue only
- No-Smoking allowed in the front of the building
Damages
- VFW Silver State Post 3396 and Its Auxiliary is not held liable for damages caused by an individual vendor
- Vendor are held responsible for all monetary and other damages that may occur
- VFW Silver State Post 3396 and Its Auxiliary is not held liable for any loss, damage, or theft of any vendors’ vehicles or property that occurs.
Hold Harmless Agreement
Vendor agrees to hold the VFW, VFW Silver State Post 3396, VFW Silver State Auxiliary 3396 harmless from any and all claims or lawsuits for losses, liabilities, injuries, or other detriments which may be made against the host association and/or any volunteers, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, or successors - based on any act that results from your participation in the "Craft Fair" being held at the Sparks High School. Although every effort is made to prevent any damage to your personal and business property, our volunteers are just that - volunteers - by asking for their assistance you are accepting responsibility fo any mishap
All Vendors will need to submit a signed paper vendor application and be approved by the Craft Fair Committee.
