VetsinTech Greater Philadelphia at the AI Agent Hackathon
About this Event
Join VetsinTech Greater Philadelphia at the Code & Coffee AI Agent Hackathon, bringing together developers from across Philadelphia for a full day of building, collaboration, and experimentation with AI agents.
VetsinTech Greater Philadelphia is excited to participate as a community partner in this public hackathon hosted by Code & Coffee Philadelphia at the Pennovation Center.
VetsinTech will have a table at the event where veterans, transitioning service members, military spouses, technologists, founders, and supporters can stop by, meet our team, and learn more about getting involved with our Greater Philadelphia community.
We also plan to have teams of developers from the VetsinTech community participating directly in the hackathon!
What to Expect
The hackathon will focus on practical projects and working prototypes using AI agents and agentic systems. Participants will have the opportunity to explore areas including:
- Coding agents
- Multi-agent workflows
- Tool use and automation
- Agent memory and context
- Evaluation, reliability, and safety
- Open-source agent frameworks
- AI applications for real-world problems
Participants can arrive with a team, find collaborators at the event, or build independently. You do not need to arrive with a finished idea.
Event Format
The day is expected to include:
- Opening overview and challenge announcements
- Team formation
- Dedicated building time
- Technical support and collaboration
- Project demos and closing presentations

Important: Hackathon Registration Required
Registering through VetsinTech's Eventbrite does not register you to participate in the hackathon.
Anyone who would like to participate in the hackathon must also register directly with the event organizers through the official Hackathon/Devpost registration page.
