The City of Westminster Recreation and Parks proudly presents, Veteran's Pickleball Classic on November 9-10, 2024.
Saturday, November 9: Women's and Men's Doubles
Sunday, November 10: Mixed Doubles
Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles will start at 8:00 AM on their respective day. Men's Doubles will start around 12:30 PM on Saturday, November 9. This is a double elimination event.
Cost: $65 first event, $20 for second event ($5 non-refundable software fee included in registration fee, per event)
Brackets will be determined by the number of participants entered for each division. Player levels/brackets may be adjusted/combined at tournament director discretion (age and skill level). Pickleball uses a rating system to rank picklers from beginners to experts. Ratings go from Level 1.0 (beginner) to Level 5.0 (top players). Player's will self-rate for this tournament. Need help? Please visit: https://pickleball.land/pickleball-ratings-explained. This is a non-sanctioned event, the ball used is Franklin X-40, Green. Registration includes unisex performance t-shirt, winners’ medals, and refreshments.
Location is Dill Dinkers Pickleball, 2950 Dede Rd, Finksburg, MD 21048. Registration closes November 1, 2024. Each player must register individually.
When you register, if your partner does not register within 10 days, you will be moved to the waitlist, but as soon as your partner registers you will automatically be moved back into the bracket if there are openings still available.
